Uche Aniche is a tech and business innovation leader, an Angel Investor and an Africa’s Secondary Cities focused Fund Manager with over two decades of experience in business communication, process design, Startup & Innovation management, Product development and Community Leadership.
Uche is a General Partner at Rebel Seed Capital – a venture capital firm backing founders building market-creating Startups in Africa’s tier 2 cities. He previously Co-founded and serves as a director at SSE Angel Network – an Angel Investor group of professionals mentoring and investing in African/Nigerian founders/startups, particularly those living in/operating out of the South-South/South-East, Nigeria.
He’s arguably the foremost advocate for Startup/Entrepreneurship Ecosystem development in Nigeria, with special focus on the South-South/South-East through #StartupSouth – helping to raise millions of dollars $Millions for founders in the region. #StartupSouth has a mission to educate, connect, and attract support/investment from founders in the two geopolitical areas.
As a Startup Coach with the Global Entrepreneurship Network, Uche mentors at the Entrepreneurship World Cup and serves as an advisor to several venture-backed Startups. He was the Pioneer Manager of Roar Hub, UNN – Nigeria’s first on-campus Technology Hub.
He’s the founder & CEO of Havilah & Hills – a hybrid marketing communication and software development agency based in Port Harcourt. Some of Havilah & Hills’ products/companies include SpotVue, 1Suite Accounting, FutureSphere Business & Innovation Hub and Venuehero.co (a venue booking portal with over 4000 venues across Nigeria for event organizers).
Until recently, Uche was the Director of Communication at Imo Economic Summit Group (IESG) – an independent, non-partisan organisation that supports and complements the Government’s economic development policies, galvanising the private sector to drive investment inflow, creating opportunities and prosperity for Imo State. The Group is made up of seasoned professionals with demonstrable personal accomplishments and overwhelming altruistic passion for developing Imo.
He believes that Nigeria will realise her potential when young people across Nigeria are meaningfully engaged through high-scale Entrepreneurship and each subnational geographic enclave is sufficiently productive.
He is married to Delight and has three Children – Havilah, Ziv & Eri
